Dubai

DUBAI
The biggest commercial hub of the Middle East

The biggest misconception with Dubai is that people mistake the city for a country. On the contrary, this signifies the diversity and limitless economy of the city on a global scale.

Dubai is the commercial capital of the Middle East located in United Arab Emirates adjoining Sharjah and Abu-Dhabi as the political capital of UAE.

This city is the major hub for transportation. The world is attracted by  its innovative constructions and large products. Dubai is a brand ambassador for skyscrapers like Burj Khalifa. This city has a hot desert climate, like an average of 41 °C in summer and in peak winter like december it downs to 30°C . Apart from the whole world the Arab country have different rules and strict regulations. The Arab state laws are not democratic they are " The Al Maktoum" which means kings rule. I would like to share my travel experience with everyone about the famous attraction in Dubai.

Burj Al Arab

BURJ - AL - ARAB

Unlike other countries, unfortunately Dubai's icon has always kept changing with time, however before the Burj Khalifa tower, it used to be the Palm Jumeirah and before that the Burj-Al-Arab. The Burj Al Arab has been termed as "the only 7 star hotel in the world" and is the third largest hotel in the world. The 60 floor Hotel's structure is uniquely designed to mimic the shape of a boat and is located 1000 feet offshore on the Dubai King Fahad highway, which has 18 elevators. The construction took 5 years and opened in 1999 with an overall cost of $ 650 Million. Burj Al Arab stands on a man made island 280 meters offshore. This hotel is also known as " The Tower of the Arabs".
As I entered into the hotel, my eye  mesmerized by seeing its mind blowing interior. It was the best thing I ever seen in my life. There was a Skyview bar on 27th floor, which has the costliest cocktail in the world. The cocktail is a mixture of different alcholos with gold flakes in it.

DUBAI SHOPPING FESTIVAL

The Dubai Shopping Festival is the biggest tourist attraction held every year during the First Quarter or the Second Quarter of every year. Most tourists claim to have visited Dubai during this time of the year. Each country gets to portray its food, culture, dance and art through this dedicated areas. This includes life size iconic structures for each country like the Taj Mahal for India and The Statue of Liberty for USA.
